Animal Crossing: New Horizons Diaries #27

Before I get started, I’d just thought I’d mention that yesterday WordPress reminded me it’s been one year since I started this blog (and since my first Animal Crossing Diaries)! It all started right after last year’s E3, when I was desperate to scream out into the world about the newly announced Animal Crossing and the Breath of the Wild sequel. So thanks to everyone who’s been following along! Maybe I’ll do some fun celebration post…now back to this Animal Crossing Diaries entry.

I’ve done it. I’ve finally acquired the fabled blue rose. Sure I caved and decided to time travel, but don’t think that made things any easier. It took approximately two months of time travel and hours of time in real life. Yeah, I was not gonna wait that long to get the rose. The big consequence is that I have a shit ton of flowers from all the days that it rained. And it takes a lot of time to dig them all up. But it was worth it.

It’s been a couple weeks since I got the blue rose and now I have a couple more, but I haven’t been playing too much since. I’ve done the wedding event once, and I wasn’t a huge fan. I keep forgetting about it because it’s not happening on the island, but I’ve heard that it’s basically the same thing everyday, so I guess I’m not really missing out.

Now this is my first summer Animal Crossing: New Horizons entry and I’ve got just a couple summer-y things I’d like to share.

Hydrangeas – my favorite bushes are in bloom! Although, I’ve gotta admit, I’m not a huge fan of the pink hydrangea color. It’s far too purple-y for me. I miss that true pink from New Leaf. But the hydrangeas are my favorite because of the blue, so I’ll let it slide (a little).

New bugs and fish – I haven’t done much of this yet, but I’m really enjoying the fireflies at night. I also failed a shark…so I gotta work on that. Speaking of things you can donate to the museum, I haven’t seen Redd in ages.

The picture doesn’t do it justice
Piranhas are prettyy

Shell wreath – I finally got the complete beach house look for Naomi’s place. It looks great with that blue door.

Also just wanted to share this letter cuz of the shell stationary.

Summer has taken over at Nook’s Cranny. The interior and exterior has gotten a summertime makeover and we now have seasonal items available for sail, including…

..the surfboard! Apparently I have the most highly coveted surfboard. If any of my Animal Crossing blogger friends want one, lemme know!

And I’ve got a couple pics from usual island-developing stuff, like my new rainbow pier! I didn’t even know you could put stuff on the pier until like a week ago…exciting stuff.

My rainbow garden’s looking more complete
I’ve shared this before, but I wanted to share the flyover view

That’s all for this entry, next time I hope to share my blue garden, and hopefully some shark catches!
