Well, I don’t think many people will be able to say they had K.K. Slider on their island three days in a row. After receiving a 3-star town rating a few days ago, K.K. arrived to perform on Thursday, after which he announced weekly concerts on Saturday nights. But yesterday (Friday), was my birthday, and he came to give a special birthday concert! Now that it’s Saturday, he’s back again, although he’s not taking requests until later – I think I’ll be requesting ‘Only Me.’ What K.K. songs are your favorite?
Yesterday my birthday festivities started quite early – as soon as I left my house, I was greeted by Scoot, who took me to his house for a surprise birthday party!
After blowing out some candles, I got to beat down a piñata, which rewarded me with birthday cupcakes. I stayed in and partied a little, before returning home.
I checked the mail to find a little birthday gift from Mom. After a little concert from K.K. I began preparing for the birthday party I decided to throw on my island. Everyone got several party favors, including blue and pink windflowers, and some native fruit and flower furniture (or alternates if they already had these).
It was lots of fun hosting friends on the island. Everyone brought lovely gifts, some of which are pictured below.
Now back to regular island business. I’ve got a couple new bridges and an incline under construction for Ed’s house.
Still no new villagers – I’m desperately searching for Reneigh, Savannah, Winnie, or Victoria. Gonna do some more island-hopping today.
Here’s a lil sneak peak at my bamboo area, which is under construction.
I’ve got pink mums! Now I need to start working hard on my hybrid rose breeding – that blue rose takes quite a lot of hybridizing to achieve, and I need plenty if I’m to live up to my town name of Azurerose.
I got a couple new wreath recipes, so I’m up to 4 flower wreaths now. Gotta collect ’em all!
Sable still didn’t really wanna talk to me today, but she at least seems happy to see me. I think she’ll really open up and talk tomorrow. Fingers crossed!
That’s all for today, see you tomorrow!
