What’s your favorite book? If you don’t have one, what is a piece of literature that you’d recommend for me to read and why?
I have a hard time picking favorites, so I’ll just recommend a book that really fascinated me during the horror literature class I took last year. House of Leaves by Mark Danielewski is a very postmodern horror novel that will change the way you think about books.
If you only got to play one game for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
This is a difficult one. I think it would have to be a Zelda game. It’s my favorite game series and it’s what got my really into gaming. And if I had to pick just one game, it would be Breath of the Wild. It’s such on open game that I could play it a different way every single time.
Where’s the next place you’d like to travel to and what are the reasons?
There are so many places I’d like to go and it’s hard to narrow it down to just one, but I’d love to go to a place like Hawaii. I want somewhere where I can relax (beaches) and also do lots of exploring. I’d also love to try all the local food.
How do you like your coffee or tea?
I like a little bit of sugar and half & half in my coffee, and a little bit of sugar in my tea.
Do you have any allergies?
Never been tested for anything but I definitely have typical indoor/outdoor allergies. I also think I’m mildly allergic to cats.
Are you a morning lark or a night owl?
I’ve been both. When I was younger I was definitely a morning lark. A few years ago I worked at a place that was open til 3am, so I was very much a night owl then. After that I worked at a coffee shop doing mostly afternoon shifts. About once a week I had to be up at 5am, which I hated. Basically, I like to be awake when the sun is out, and then a few hours more.
Who’s that artist or band you have on endless repeat when you’re looking for something to listen to?
Paramore all the way. I’m really digging Hayley Williams’s new solo stuff too.
Everyone who reads this post! No pressure of course. Answer as many questions as you want. Create a blog post for your answers or just comment them here. Post one-word answers or go really in depth! And I’d love to hear your thoughts on indie games, so my questions are indie game focused. If you have any indie game thoughts that don’t fit with my questions, feel free to post them anyway.
And the Questions:
- What’s an upcoming indie game you’re looking forward to?
- What indie game(s) have you enjoyed recently?
- What indie developers should I follow on Twitter (or other social media)?
- What blog posts about indie games should I go read?
- What’s your favorite indie game with multiplayer?
- What’s your favorite indie game soundtrack? (feel free to list more than one)
- Have you played any indie games that were totally different from any other games you’ve played?
Thanks for reading, I look forward to your answers!
