Animal Crossing Diaries #11

It’s been awhile since I’ve done an Animal Crossing Diaries post…I haven’t done too much in the past month in New Leaf. I took a break from gardening and I’ve been struggling to find the bagworm.

But now that it’s November, I have several new things to catch! In the time I’ve been playing this morning, I’ve already caught the red king crab, horsehair crab, and snow crab. The other new guys I have to catch are the blowfish, football fish, mole cricket, and the sea cucumber.

I played for about an hour during the Halloween event to get some spooky/creepy furniture. It’s a fun event – I enjoyed using masks to scare villagers and playing charades to try and get candy – but it does get a bit repetitive after awhile.

Watching the leaves gradually change color has been fun! In my last post, the trees had just gotten to a yellow-green and now they’re this pretty golden yellow. Soon enough they’ll be that gorgeous, striking red. Maybe I’ll do a post with some of the screenshots I’ve taken over the past couple months to show off the color changes.

I love the golden leaves against the bright blue sky
I also love when they brighten up a dreary day

The Pocket Camp Second Anniversary Event has begun! I’ve still got my Halloween layout (and I still will for a few more days), but I’m very excited about all the new furniture – I always am when there are blue flowers involved.

I hope everyone enjoyed their Halloween – I’ve got a party to go to this weekend, so I’m still celebrating (and I’ve got an upcoming Halloween post).

140 days until Animal Crossing New Horizons!
